A review of recent developments in the Turkish constitution

Abstract
Turkey’s 1982 constitution that was adopted following military coup in 1980, was amended in 2010 by initiative and efforts of AKP and due to factors such as the party’s political strategy, public pressure and Europe union. This reforms is undoubtedly considered as the most widely effort of turkey to moving in pass of democracy and facilitate the process of joining to the Europe union. Reforms includes different parts of constitution law such as military , rights and  individual freedoms, economical and social rights and the judiciary. Changes in the constitutional court that estabilished in 1961 is most important judicial amendment. Its latest development experienced by the recent referendum.
The main purpose in this paper is to examin this issue that recent reforms have created what changes in the constitution especially in the Turkish constitutional court. Entries in this regard is set in two parts : the first part is dedicated to the referendum of 2010 and amendments and the second part is dedicated to the constitutional court.
