The main purpose of this article is to explore and to analyze the philosophical concept of liberty in the light of well-organized society of the and the theory of justice. With descriptive-analytical approach at this article, the research is to explain and analyze how Rawls define and demonstrate the scope and territory of liberty in the theory of Justice, and in light of the second principle of justice; “the principle of equality”? The results of the study show that his justice theory has taken away with limitless individualism of liberalism, while it is not joined to the utilitarianism seeking collective benefit. According to Rawls, everyone has the right of equal freedom, allowed to reduce the freedom in case stability of the entire liberty system and then defect which occurs the low-interest individuals in liberty must be compensated otherwise. Fundamental liberties of Rawls is including; freedom of speech, political freedom, freedom of conscience, belief, freedom, private property, prohibition of arbitrary arrest and detention. رالز فیلسوف آمریکایی سده بیستم با نظریه عدالت توزیعی خود تفاوت چشم‌گیری با سایر متفکرین لیبرالیسم ایجاد کرد که یکی از آنها تفاوت دیدگاه‌ وی در بحث آزادی با سایر اندیشمندان است. هدف اساسی مقاله تبیین و تحلیل فلسفی مفهوم آزادی در پرتو نظریه جامعه به سامان و نظریه عدالت وی می‌باشد. پژوهش با رویکردی توصیفی-تحلیلی در مقاله در مقام تبیین و تحلیل این مساله است که چگونه رالز در نظریه عدالت و در پرتو اصل دوم عدالت یعنی اصل برابری، قلمرو و محدوده آزادی را تعریف و ترسیم می‌کند؟ نتایج حاصل از پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که وی در نظریه عدالت خود با فردگرایی بی حد و حصر لیبرالیسم فاصله گرفته، در عین اینکه به فایده‌گرایان که به دنبال منفعت بیشتر جمعی هستند نیز نپیوسته است. از نظر رالز همه حق برابر در برخورداری از آزادی دارند، کاستن از آزادی در صورت استحکام کل نظام آزادی مجاز است و نقصی که در آزادی افراد کم بهره‌تر از آزادی در این جریان ایجاد می‌شود می‌بایست به نحو دیگری جبران شود. آزادی‌های اساسی رالز، شامل آزادی بیان، آزادی سیاسی، آزادی وجدان، عقیده، آزادی مالکیت شخصی، منع توقیف و بازداشت خودسرانه می‌شود. https://www.asasimag.ir/article_95258_9b955e79e7187a50f57dcdf940d94363.pdf
